Rough Electrical and Plumbing Installation:
By rough we are referring to the initial install of the wiring and piping to the structure\
Rough Electric Install
- Cut and install lighting wiring
- Add electrical boxes for switches and outlets
- Install the electrical panel if applicable
- Install data panel where applicable
- Drill holes in the studs/ subfloors/ ceiling to run wiring
- Run wire through the ceiling to the lighting and electrical boxes
- Run conduit lines where applicable
- Run pull string through conduit where applicable
- Caulk all holes in the ceilings and subfloors
- Make up plugs and switches ready for final installation
- Do a rough HVAC install
Rough Plumbing Install
- Install ABS drains and vents, which are higher quality and more durable than PVC
- Install hot and cold PEX piping
- Cut hole for toilet flange where applicable
- Install valves for shower and tub where applicable
- If using gas, install gas lines for water heather, fireplace, range and dryer
